"Rules concerning Implementation of the same"
for Standardization of JT-H262, etc.

The above matter shall be managed as follows pursuant to the provision of Paragraph (6), Item (b) of the "Rules Concerning Implementation of Guidelines":

Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the "Method of Statement of Written Confirmation and Relation with ITU-T in regard to Industrial Property Rights" (dated January 24, 1992; Determined by the Intellectual Property Rights Subcommittee) in the course of the standardization of JT-H262 and JT-H222.0, the Title Holder may choose either of the following actions with due regard to various circumstances:

To submit a written confirmation to TTC in accordance with the "Guidelines in Regard to Industrial Property Right, etc.", and Paragraph (1) of the "Rules Concerning Implementation of the Same": or
To submit to TTC a copy of the Patent Statement submitted to ITU-T in connection with ITU-T Recommendations H.262 and H.222.0 in lieu of submitting a written confirmation.
