Optical Fiber Transmission Working Group

This working group is planned to exchange the opinion and share of the information about a domestic standard activity, an up-stream activity to ITU-T, and the related organization activity for seven Questions of ITU-T SG15 WP2 concerning a physical layer of the optical transmission network (optical systems for terrestrial transport networks and submarine cable systems, optical components, fibers, cables, equipment, construction, and maintenance). Especially, concentrates on the issue for the wavelength division multiplexing and high-speed-system (40 Gb/s,100Gb/s).
