Technology Research Advisory Group(TAG)

In principle TTC develops its standards based on the "de-jure standards" developed by authorized SDOs such as ITU.  However, TTC also pays attention to the trends of "de-fact standards" being developed by global fora and/or consortia so that TTC standards reflect their studies and deliverables in a proper manner. This Advisory Group researches and analyzes the activities of major fora and consortia in the world every year to make report and advice to Strategic Committee on the trends of de-fact standardization activities. Outcomes of research and analysis are posted at the TTC website annually.
